Class Location: 5050 Edison Avenue, Suite 111, Colorado Springs, CO. (Just West of Powers and Platte)

As an independent childbirth educator, I am able to offer informative classes that do not adhere to just one method. To my classes, I bring information from Lamaze International (No longer the hee-hee, haw-haw breathing), Dr. Grantly Dick-Read, Dr. Robert Bradley, Ina May Gaskin (famous midwife) and Sheila Kitzinger (social anthropologist).

As a certified labor doula, I understand that every woman labors differently. I can also bring that experience to further my role as an educator.

As an educator, my goal is to bring forth the information to the mother and her partner so that they are adequately prepared for childbirth. I research current information and evidence-based studies.

I teach that birth is natural, but I do cover information on Cesarean Sections, Epidurals and other medications.
