Matting Options
The way a paper tole creation is matted can have an effect on how it looks.
Take a look at the options available.
The decision is yours.
Option 1: No Spacers - All mats are stacked right on top of each other with no extra space between image or mats.

No spacers Right Angle |
Option 2: Mats with Spacers - Spacers can be inserted to lift the mat up to add dimension. You can choose to place spacers in between image and all mats or at different levels (ex. no spacer between bottom mat and image, but spacers between the bottom mat and top mat).
Standard matting is a double mat. This contains two mats, usually of different colors. Prices on Paper Tole Creation page are for the double mat set. A 3rd mat can be added for $3. The triple mat would be 2 different colors where the bottom and top mats are the same color and the middle mat is a different color. Often times, the bottom mat lies directly on the image rather than have spacers.

Framing Options :
Because of the depth of the artwork, custom frames with enough depth or shadow boxes are needed. Regular picture frames are too thin. Depending on where you take your piece and how busy they are, it may take 10 days to 3 weeks.
I work with a local framer that is been in the framing business for 17 years.
Option 1: No Frame
This option allows you to take the piece to the framer of your choice. There are many frame options available. There will be a discount available if you take your paper tole creation to the framer that I work with.
Option 2: Frame
At this time, I will be working with only a few select moldings so that I may be able to give you a quote on framing. I do charge a $5 travel fee on top of the framing cost.
